Call for workshops and exhibition

The call for abstracts and workshops is now closed.

The call is still open for the RSD9 exhibition: Gigamaps, Visual Narratives and Material Visualizations

We invite authors to submit Gigamaps (rich diagrams), synthesis maps and other visual complexity mapping and artefacts such as prototypes, material relations, physical systems models, (games, simulations or 3D system models) for the RSD9 exhibition. These will also be included in an online exhibition catalogue. Most entries will have abstracts and explanatory texts embedded into the material. There is no specified template or size for posters. The format, layout, and material is up to the author.  While submissions will not be juried or reviewed, they will be assessed for relevance to RSD9 themes and appropriate inclusion by the curator of the exhibition.

Please send posters as PDF image files, with an associated description attached to rsd9@nid.edu with the subject RSD9 Exhibition. Please also attach a MS Word file with title, author(s) name, institute / organisation / year with up to 200 word abstract, up to 100 word explanation on “how to read a map” (in case you have to do so).

Please visit RSD9.org for program information.
